The dreaded first person story…

Is it descriptive enough? Why should we care about only one character? How is the character even telling us their tale?

There is a well-known bias against first person storytelling. Too many of us have been burned by bad perspectives or flat characters. But Me First Magazine plans to stop these issues. We publish only first person stories that readers love.

Some of our fav 1st person stories include:

To Kill a Mocking Bird

John Dies at the End

Jane Eyre

Ballad of a Ghetto Poet

Fight Club

Gulliver’s Travels

Catcher in the Rye

Wild Ink

A Princess of Mars

Frankenstein

The Secret Life of Bees

We’re just getting started. If YOU (the readers and the writers) enjoy this publication enough we plan to release a full print volume every year starting in 2020.
